Enrique is a master carver who resides in Tacoma, Washington. Born in Tauca, Peru, he immigrated to the USA in 1977. He has been working with wood for over 35 years. Currently, his passion is Pacific Northwest tribal art. He specializes in totem poles, masks, and relief carving. He participates in the Northwest Tribal Journeys and has been adopted into the Tlingit tribe.

Totem Poles

Enrique has completed seven Totem Poles of over eight feet tall. He works with customers on all aspects of design work and links local Tribal elders to bless each pole at its “raising."

TLINGIT TRIBE

Enrique has been adopted by the Tlingit Tribe and is with the Raven Clan. He takes part in yearly canoe journeys. His tribal name is Ka-llox-ka (rock of the sea lion).
